About This Workshop

In this experiential workshop, we’ll share our experiences of creating Zoomers to Boomers Improv, an Intergenerational and International training program designed to bridge the age and cultural barriers in improv classes and troupes. Participants will engage in innovative exercises and scene work that will invite them to play cross-generationally, and to examine their hidden biases. Each exercise or scene will be followed by a debriefing discussion to share insights. We will also facilitate a discussion about the value of forming age, gender, and cultural specialty groups in the world of improv classes and performing troupes, versus intentionally creating mixed groups.
