“Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine.” -Bob Carter

It feels good to be the person who saves the day, right? I know from personal experience, when people come to you when they need something fixed it definitely feels good to be the superhero that sweeps in and saves the day! However, doing this too often will start to have negative effects. Today, I will cover when it is ok to say no to someone. Also, I will share with you my framework on how to properly say no to someone.

From this episode, you will learn:

  • When you should decline projects or activities.
  • How saying no will save you from getting burnt out.
  • How to protect your time to do important work.
  • My framework to saying no.
