“There are an infinite number of reasons to say no. Instead, try to focus on one good reason to say yes.”― Jarod Kintz

When presented with a new idea, or something new to try, is your initial thought to say yes, or to say no? Saying YES is the first rule in improv and and is the foundation for all that we do. Saying yes enables us to tell awesome stories and create something bigger than any one person, while when we say NO the scene falls flat and dies. This simple principle also applies to real life. Today on the show I challenge you to say yes more, and I discuss the many benefits that you will experience when you do so.

From this episode, you will learn:

  • Saying yes more is a catalyst towards happiness
  • The principle of Improv: “Yes and …”
  • How saying yes will help you create BIGGER ideas.
