SUMMARY:Virtual Campfire with Hiking My Feelings
DESCRIPTION:This event is a fundraiser* for the Hiking My Feelings Wilderness Wellness Center. Our goal is to raise $30\,000 for the first phase of construction\, which will include a 24-foot geodesic dome on a 32’x32’ deck and several areas for overnight guests to set up a tent. The Dome will serve as the hub for all of our programming; online education\, in-person workshops and retreats\, and basecamp for local hikes and backpacking trips. Entirely off-grid\, The Dome is the prototype for future structures; solar and wind-powered\, with a composting toilet and water catchment system. We are thrilled to be building the Center at the Reggae Ranch\, which is nestled on nine acres in the Cuyamaca Mountains\, located an hour east of San Diego. The Reggae Ranch is dedicated to local and traveling artists as a retreat from the hustle & bustle of the city and tour life\, and is a unique venue for private events. \n*NOTE: We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. \n  \n20 NIGHTS OF STORYTELLING AROUND THE FIRE.\nCampfires\, amirite? Lighting the fire and gathering with friends is the perfect end to the day. Each evening\, starting at 5pm PT\, we are gathering virtually to bring together some of our favorite storytellers – speakers\, spoken word artists\, musicians\, live art\, comedians and more.
